Instrumental Music

There are 5 lines and 4 spaces that make up the music staff. The treble clef has line notes and space notes
The line notes are notes on a line with the line running through the note head.
The space notes are notes with a line under the note head and on top of the note head.

The space notes are numbered from the bottom to the top with the 1st space note being F
The second space note is A, the third space note is C and the fourth space note is E.
When you put all the space notes together for the Treble Clef, they spell FACE. Space rhymes with FACE.

The line notes are also numbered from the bottom to the top with the first line note being E.
The second line note is G, the third line note is B, the fourth line note is D and the fifth line note is F.
